In 2019 David Berberian recruited me to direct this tough little film he had written.
He had also recruited S'alfrico Watson-Grant as DP for the film.
But the most amazing touch was the 14-year-old actress playing his daughter in the film: Marleigh Purgar McDonald. She was already a veteran of Triangle stages and does amazing work in this film. The cast was fully rounded out with Geraud Staton, whom I met on this production and who became the lead of my film Last Words: Mary.
Though it was shot in 2019, after a basic edit, the film languished. Work that people had promised failed to materialize. Finally, though I had not been involved in the technical production, I arranged with David to finish the film.
