Where does love begin?
Where does love end?
A film about memory, aging, love that lasts and love that slips through our fingers. An elderly Mother returns from her 50th high school reunion. Her adult son has been babysitting her husband - who is in the early stages of dementia - while she was out. She reflects on her evening, evoking memories of her first kiss, and earliest desires, carrying us to the past and back to the harsh facts of the present. But in his heart, the adult son is getting ready to leave and follow his heart in a different direction.
The film is based on a short play written by Durham Novelist Robert Wallace. The screenplay is by Jim McQuaid, only slightly damaging the artistry of the source.
